I just felt the need to post a photo in an attempt to give you an idea
of what we were riding through all day. I sure love my tent. And dry
clothes. And hot showers...

What started out as a diary of our daily adventures on the Pittsburgh 250 ride in 2008 from Washington, DC to Pittsburgh, PA, has now grown as a record of the B.O.B.s (Bikers of Beverly) and our ongoing rides. Our trio (Scotty-BoB, Brucey-Bob, and yours truly - Robbie-BoB) is now a quartet with latest BoB - Tommy-BoB. We're a group of guys who love to cycle and share a common faith. Wouldn't you like to be a BoB too? Enjoy the blog. See you on the trail....

Hope you all were able to fuel up on good food and sleep last night in those wee comfie tents - and are ready for THE LONGEST DAY (cue music).
Now we can picture you arriving in triumph at the Point Saturday afternoon! Count on us cheering you on like not Steeler has ever been cheered on!!!
Give me a "B"!!!!
The BoB's are AWESOME!!!
Best,
Nancy
Scott, we bet the other riders are happy your shoes are partially covered in mud to cover up the "white" glare. Wondering if this experience is going to turn into a "one-pager"??? Seriously, your Department is very proud of you and we look forward to hearing many interesting stories.
Keep on pedaling! Good luck on your longest day yet. Hope you're dry and warm today and most of all I hope there's a hot shower waiting for you at the end of the day! The weather has sure been a part of the adventure! Stay strong! You guys are great!
Debbie
